A Connecticut Safety Academy Workshop

Class Description:

Join us for this timely roundtable focused on critical road safety issues. This facilitated discussion will bring together transportation experts, along with state, and local partners to discuss common challenges and collaborate on potential solutions. This session is free to all participants.

Learning Objectives:

At this session participants will:

• Have the opportunity to ask questions of experts and your peers about common issues and best practices.
• Discuss solutions that have the potential to bring a safer and more efficient transportation system to your town/city and the state.

Who Should Attend:

• Transportation Professionals throughout Connecticut

Instructors:

Jason Hughes and Shawn Barry, from the University of Connecticut’s Training and Technical Assistance Center will be moderating the discussion.

Registration:

• Cost: Free. No registration fee is charged for this class. This training opportunity is offered by the Training & Technical Assistance Center's Connecticut Safety Academy.
• If a participant fails to attend the workshop and does not inform our team by phone or email by the morning of the training, a $25.00 no-show fee will be charged. Alternatively, you may send a replacement from your agency.
• Morning refreshments will be provided. 
• Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
• Approximately one week prior to the class, you will receive an email confirmation of your attendance, along with the address of the workshop location.
