Creative Solutions Award Program
The Connecticut Creative Solutions Award Program was developed by the Connecticut Training and Technical Assistance Center to recognize the initiative and innovative thinking of public agency transportation staff in the development of tools, equipment modifications, and processes that increase safety, reduce cost, improve efficiency, and improve the quality of transportation.

Build a Better Mousetrap National Competition
The Build a Better Mousetrap Competition's purpose is to collect and disseminate real world examples of best practices, tips from the field and assist in the transfer of technology. Each year, our Creative Solutions winners are entered into this National Competition.
Every Day Counts is a State-based model that identifies and rapidly deploys proven, yet underutilized innovations to shorten the project delivery process, enhance roadway safety, reduce traffic congestion, and integrate automation. Proven innovations promoted through EDC facilitate greater efficiency at the State and local levels, saving time, money and resources that can be used to deliver more projects. Each round contains a selection of innovations chosen by transportation professionals across the country.
