A CT Transportation Leadership Program REQUIRED Workshop - Cohort #10

Course Description: 

Learning Objectives:

• Understand what the best platform skills are to make sure people pay attention
• Identify the behavioral styles of the people in an audience and how to communicate with them
• Identify when and how to use the correct Audio/Visual tools
• Understand the Ladder of Inference, how to demonstrate what information is remembered and how to best phrase your message.

Instructor:

Jeff Flowers has nearly two decades of experience facilitating the learning and development of thousands of business professionals across the United States and internationally. Drawing from his background as an actor, director, executive coach, mediator, and experiential education facilitator, Jeff is a dynamic facilitator who listens to understand the universal difficulties individuals face in their attempts to lead, influence, and motivate their teams and audiences. He works with them to develop techniques, strategies, and new behaviors to overcome those difficulties and become the kind of leader who is trusted, respected, and admired.
