A Connecticut Traffic Signal Academy Workshop and A Connecticut Local Traffic Authority ELECTIVE Workshop
*Participants will receive 4 credit hours toward their CT Traffic Signal Champion Designation along with LTA elective credit.
Class Description:
Get ready for an engaging Hot Topic Roundtable Discussion, focusing on Automated Traffic Enforcement Safety Devices! Through a facilitated discussion and presentations from industry experts, we’ll delve into the challenges, opportunities, and valuable lessons learned, as Connecticut navigates through the application process. Don't miss out on this conversation—it's your chance to stay at the forefront of traffic safety innovation!
Learning Objectives:
At this session, participants will:
- Come together with transportation professionals from all over Connecticut to discuss Automated Traffic Enforcement Safety Devices (ATESD).
- Have the opportunity to ask questions and learn solutions and best practices to bring back to your agencies.
Who Should Attend:
- Transportation Professionals throughout Connecticut
- Local Traffic Authorities and/or their Designees.
Presenters:
Garratt Bolella from the City of Norwalk, and Luke Buttenwieser from the City of Stamford will be moderating the discussion.
We will have presentations from
Charles Turner, District Department of Transportation, and
Glenn Theriault and
Mark Coupland from DACRA Tech, LLC.

- Cost: Free. No registration fee is charged for this class. This training opportunity is offered by the Training & Technical Assistance Center's Connecticut Traffic Signal Academy.
- If a participant fails to attend the workshop and does not inform our team by phone or email by the morning of the training, a $25.00 no-show fee will be charged. Alternatively, you may send a replacement from your agency.
- Lunch will be provided.
- Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
- Approximately one week prior to the class, you will receive an email confirmation of your attendance, along with the address of the workshop location.
