A CT Transportation Leadership Program REQUIRED Workshop - Cohort #8

Course Description: 

Succession planning means having a process in place to assess those team needs integral to the continuity of services, a program to develop staff to meet those needs, and a system for identifying those individuals who can assume key roles as staff retire or leave the agency. This module will focus on each of these components and will provide strategies and tools for helping your agency prepare for the future.

Learning Objectives: 

Upon completion of this class participants will be able to:

  • Utilize Individual Development Plans (IDP's) for critical succession planning
  • Construct mentoring and emerging leader programs
  • Develop a roadmap for your leadership course ahead
  • Use DiSC Catalyst as a tool for navigating conversations with people of different styles.
