A CT ROAD MASTER PROGRAM REQUIRED WORKSHOP
Course Description:
Access to better information, improved equipment and integrating the latest best practices into their operations are helping communities across the region to be better prepared for winter.
This class will provide detailed information on all of the above and give participants a chance to practice what they have learned through storm scenario exercises.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this class, participants will be able to:
- List the key components of a typical snow and ice control plan.
- Describe the differences between anti-icing and de-icing.
- Explain the importance of proper equipment calibration.
- Describe best practices in snow fighting.

Instructor:
Paul Brown, is the President of RoadTech, Inc., a consulting company specializing in road management and pavement maintenance issues. Paul has been teaching road building and maintenance classes for LTAP centers around the country for several years and has been in the construction industry since 1979.

- Cancellation/Refund Policy: The registration fee is refundable if notice of cancellation is received 48 hours prior to the start of the program.
