This session is virtual and will take place in two parts; Part One on 11/1 from 8:00 - 12:00 and Part Two on 11/2 from 8:00 - 12:00. 

The registration fee for this class is $100 for municipal and state participants and $200 for private sector participants. 

You must attend both sessions to earn credit in the LTA program.

A CT Local Traffic Authority Certificate Program Required Workshop

Course Description:

This workshop is designed to provide an overview of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), and give participants a basic understanding of when and where to install signs, signals and markings.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this class, participants will be able to:     

• Utilize the latest edition of the MUTCD to identify standards and requirements for traffic signs, signals and markings.

• Use the MUTCD to determine proper use and placement of traffic signs, signals and markings.

Who Should Attend: 

This program is designed for municipal personnel who serve in the capacity of their municipality’s Local Traffic Authority as well as those who have responsibility for the placement of traffic signs, signals and markings.
