A CT Road Master Program REQUIRED Workshop

Course Description:

In this workshop, participants will learn about Section 6 of the MUTCD (Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices) and proper temporary traffic control plans. Using the "Guidelines of Temporary Traffic Control in Work Zones," participants will work to put concepts into practice. Proper flagging techniques will also be reviewed.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this class, participants will be able to:

  • How to manage work zone traffic;
  • How to set-up and maintain work zones;
  • How to install, maintain and monitor traffic control devices;
  • How to identify and train the right people for flagging in work zones.

Who Should Attend:

This program is designed for any state or local personnel who are involved in street and utility construction and maintenance on local roads. 

Road Foremen, Crew Leaders, Highway Superintendents and Directors of Public Works are encouraged to attend. 

Instructor:

Adam Drummond is the President of National Safety Services, LLC. He is responsible for the development and delivery of National Safety Services’ programs nationally, including environmental, health, and safety training. Adam has over 30 years of experience in safety training, consulting, and the products industry. He has designed more than 75 individual training programs for safety and environmental applications.

    - $200 - Private-sector participants
  • Cancellation/Refund Policy: The registration fee is refundable if notice of cancellation is received 48 hours prior to the start of the program. Registrants who are unable to attend and do not cancel in advance are subject to the registration fee. Substitutions may be made at anytime. Please notify us of changes.
