Event Overview

Navigating Our Way to the Extra Mile with Special Guest Speaker Kenya Rutland

A New England Chapter Connects Series — Presented by the NEAPWA's Public Works Awareness and Education Committees

When: Thursday, November 17, 2022, 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. via Zoom Hosted by T2 Center at UCONN

Long before the arrival of the pandemic of 2020, the role of Public Works Departments has been taken for granted. Some will question if we are first responders. The NE APWA recognizes that you are essential to the way every city and town functions and want to provide tools to help you continue to persevere during these tough times.

We invite you to “Navigating Our Way to the Extra Mile.” Kenya Rutland will lead a conversation on how we can keep ourselves enthused about the work, keep our teams focused, and continue to make it happen (get our work done) during these tough times.

Kenya Rutland is a passionate and enthusiastic speaker, who increases the confidence, motivation, and performance of others. This webinar would be a great gift for your crews. Plan to a host a lunch and learn, provide lunch for the crew, and invite them to participate in this motivational discussion.
