ABOUT THE SUMMIT
Safety partners throughout the state will join for a virtual summit to collaborate on transportation safety strategies and initiatives to save lives on all Connecticut roadways. The goal of the summit is to engage law enforcement and the 4Es of safety stakeholders to deepen the understanding of Connecticut’s severe crashes, contributing factors, and priority emphasis areas. The summit will solicit input for identifying emerging safety needs and determining the SHSP priority safety strategies to significantly reduce fatalities and serious injuries on all public roads. Contributions from the summit will inform the development of the CT SHSP.
PARTICIPANTS
Statewide safety stakeholders include local and state DOTs, MPOs, state and local law enforcement, traffic safety advocates and educators, and private sector transportation safety leaders and practitioners.
