A CT Transportation Leadership Program ELECTIVE Workshop

Course Description: 

Building and retaining a capable workforce can be challenging in our busy industry. Join us for a facilitated conversation with a panel of public works leaders, who have graduated from the CT Transportation Program. We will discuss success stories and challenges in developing the professionals within our agencies. Panelists will share how they are developing their staff and applying what they have learned in the program to support growth within their agencies. This will be an open discussion with the panel and the audience to allow for a broader exchange of ideas and recommendations.

Learning Objectives: 

At this session, participants will learn:

• Effective strategies for workforce development. 
• Challenges and solutions in professional development. 
• Practical applications of leadership development programs.

  - $125 — This workshop is available only to Transportation Leadership Program current and past participants.

• Cancellation/Refund Policy: The registration fee is refundable if notice of cancellation is received 48 hours prior to the start of the program. Registrants who are unable to attend and do not cancel in advance are subject to the registration fee.
