A CT Road Master Program Elective Workshop

Course Description:

This one-day classroom training session covers vehicle safety, vehicle maintenance, daily walk-around inspections and pre and post-shift inspection. A demonstration of proper equipment inspection will be held and techniques for efficient grading of roads will also be shared. 

Learning Objectives:

 In this workshop participants will learn how to:

• Complete an appropriate pre-job safety inspection; 

• Understand proper procedure for loading & unloading equipment; 

• Describe an efficient method for grading a road. 

Who Should Attend:

This program is designed for heavy equipment operators and those who have responsibility for the construction and maintenance of local roads.

Equipment Operators, Highway Superintendents, Road Foremen, Crew Leaders and Directors of Public Works are encouraged to attend.
