Course Description:

Fun Runs, Rallies and Festivals - does your department have a process in place for managing these events? Do you want to learn how other towns are handling them ad get some tips on how to improve departmental coordination? This roundtable discussion will focus on how municipalities coordinate the impact of special events on their roadway s. 

A panel of public safety and public works leaders will discuss how they handle major events that impact their municipalities and will share lessons learned from their experiences.

Who Should Attend:

Police Chiefs, Chief Elected Officials, Public Works Directors and those responsible for coordinating road closures and support for special events in their community.
