Noah Rothermel

Research Assistant


Mr. Rothermel is a Research Assistant for the Connecticut Transportation Safety Research Center (CTSRC). Noah earned a Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics from the University of Iowa in 2021. He began his research career in 2018 conducting research on human computer interaction, driver distraction, and advanced driving systems. Later, he focused his research towards on-road studies, including the use of bioptics telescopes while driving in unfamiliar areas, the effectiveness of exercise on Parkinson's Disease, and automated driving systems for rural America.

Noah joined CTSRC in July of 2023 in efforts to assist with simulation studies, linking crash data with toxicology data, and crash data quality. His interests include watching motorsports, working on cars, and gaming.
