CTSRC Crash Data Champion

Mr. Butler joined the Connecticut Transportation Research Safety Center (CTSRC) team in August 2025 to support the upgrade of Connecticut's crash data system to meet the Model Minimum Uniform Crash Criteria (MMUCC) 6th Edition guidelines. As Crash Data Champion, he manages both project and change management activities, ensuring that all impacted groups are aligned and that the project is delivered on time.

Before joining CTSRC, Mr. Butler worked in the healthcare technology industry for over a decade as a project manager and as a cyber security expert. In 2024, he earned his Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification. He holds a graduate degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Glasgow.
