A CT Road Scholar Program Elective Workshop

Course Description:

From analyzing traffic patterns to repairing water mains, from inspecting bridges to managing and tracking condition of assets, Connecticut’s public works community is finding ways to make the most of drones. Join us for this roundtable discussion where representatives from CT agencies will share their experiences and lessons learned.  In addition, we will have the DOT Drone Team and local industry experts on hand to share best practices on developing a program to coordinate your drone usage and identify the latest technology trends.

There will also be a “show and tell” session so be sure to bring your drone if you have one.  If the weather is right, we will include demonstrations and an opportunity to see some of the different technology in use.

Who Should Attend:

This course is for any public works professionals that are interested in learning more about how they can incorporate drones into their operations. Directors of Public Works, Town Engineers and technical staff are encouraged to attend.
